20 Buck Check in The Mail from Cada Cabeza

20 minutes, 20 buck check, easiest money ever.
I was really skeptical about this one, and I was almost 95% sure this was a scam.  I heard about this site that offers 20 bucks for Hispanics that join the survey site, and the scam alarm went off in my head.  Needles to say, it was the quickest 20 bucks I have ever made.  It took all of 20 minutes to do 10 1-2 page intro surveys, and earn the 1,000 points needed to cash out.

This is really easy to do just click the banner above or this link. Once you sign up, with legit information (kinda hard to cash a check in someone else name), all you have to do is click on control panel - my first surveys. Once there you take the 9-10 simple surveys that are about 1-2 pages long each.  Once you reach 1000 points, click on control panel, trade your points, and 3-4 weeks later you will have a 20 dollar check in the mail.

Pro-tips:
Intended for Hispanics, but everything is in English (or has options to switch to English).
You do NOT have to verify your Hispanic background.

This site does have some draw backs.  It does not offer that many surveys after the original first surveys.  It took about a week to receive another survey offer from them, which will make it really hard to reach cash out again.  You still make 20 bucks really fast, and who couldn't use a free tank of gas or free dinner?

FreeLancer/Freemarket

Freelancer and Freemarket are pretty amazing site, but not everyone knows about them.  These are NOT survey sites, and really do belong in a blog of their own, but  I figured I would give them a brief mention here.  A lot of people might come to this blog looking for skilled work, and that is exactly what these sites are.

They are a place where people buy and sell digital skilled labor, and everything has a place and price.  People look for templates for websites, or even have content and articles for websites written for them. I go into greater detail on their dedicated page, but here is a quick break down of the two sites

 Freelancer
This is a reverse auction site where you can either post or bid on jobs.  Then you complete them to the persons specifications.  Jobs include everything from writing articles, designing websites, graphic design, and everything in between.

 Freemarket
This is where you can sell or buy pre-made digital goods.  This includes everything from articles about specific topics, fonts, websites, graphics, and everything else you could possibly want.

Make Them Want You

This is an excerpt from the tips and tricks page on this site, but I think it was funny enough to give its own little shout out here.  Prepare to be mildly entertained!

Want: Make Them Want You
It is important to make the surveyor to want to survey you.  Honestly, everyone knows they are a bit annoying, but it is important to make it appear you want to be there.  Completing the survey completely is the only way to get credit, and we want credit. Just follow these simple steps:

1.) Figure out what the survey is trying to sell you, err ask about! If it is about phones, then maybe you will be in the market for cell phones soon.  The same goes for cars, groceries, etc.
2.) Primary/Only decision maker! Only choice as far as your concerned, why would you advertise to someone who doesn't even make decisions!
3.) Middle Class (Money Wise) - Only real choice.  No point advertising to someone who can not afford the product!
4.) No, you have not been survied about (insert product) before in the last 3 months.
5.) Yes, I'm easily convicable!
6.) I'm always willing to try new things and switch products!
7.) I tell my friends about everything!

Google Voice - Thank You

A little cautionary tale for all of you out there trying to make some extra money on the internet.  Remember to do everything possible to stay safe out there.  I could have had my cell phone number of almost 8 years ruined, if I was not using Google Voice.

I've had a Google Voice number for months while now, and I finally signed up for something that gave telemarketers/scamers my Google Voice number.  Last morning, I received a phone call from 18775026442 and a few hours later they called again.  A few hours later 12014719853 calls me twice over a 2-4 hour period, and finally 18082032779 calls me over a 2-4 hour period.  I have a feeling this is just the start...

I naturally look up all these numbers, and it appears they are trying to scam or sell you something like a gift card for 1 dollar... Yeah, right.  Thankfully, I had my actual number was cut off from them.  I had google voice call my cell phone 3 times before I disconnected it, now it goes straight to voice mail.  The only thing left is leaving a interesting voice mail about something.  Any Ideas?

Why hello all - General Introductions

A little about me, I work at a place that has a LOT of down time, and I have been doing everything from sweepstakes to survey sites to make a little bit of extra money.  In about a week I managed to pull in an extra 100 dollars!  So while I'm sad to say you will not be getting rich off my tips; you will make enough extra money a month for a car payment.

The layout will be quite simple, but it may take me a few weeks to get everything set up! The main page of the blog will be me explaining any interesting developments in my struggles on the rough dangerous scam filled seas of the internet.  This will mainly be things you can use to your advantage, but is very limited on time. So it would be a good idea to follow this blog once I've proven what I can do for you.

There will be ~9 permanent pages, and the most important thing to read will be the tips + safety pages.  I don't want anyone to do this stuff incorrectly and start receiving aggressive scam calls.  This is not your average telemarketers either.  They will literally lie to you, threaten, and tell you anything and everything to get your SSN or credit card number.  There is nothing to worry about though, I'll show you a simple trick to not get any more spam/scam calls.  I can't do anything about the ones you are already getting though!
